Yesterday we wrapped up the last training session before the Christmas break 🎄
There’s still one final practice coming up between the holidays to close out the year, and then we turn our gaze toward 2026 ✨
Regular training resumes on Sunday, January 4th and that day also marks the start of a brand new Family Aikido group.
A fresh year, a new beginning on the tatami 🥋

🇬🇧 The three-day Oyama Sensei`s seminar in Tampere came to an end yesterday, leaving us with a wealth of learning, insights, sweat, and above all the joy of training together. Once again, the seminar brought practitioners together from a wide range of places, including from abroad, with participants representing over 24 different dojos 🧡.
Warm thanks to all participants, and of course to Oyama Shihan himself. Heartfelt thanks also to all the organizers who made this well-functioning event possible: Nagarekai Dojo, Masurawo Dojo, Hietamäen Dojo, Awase Dojo, Seigikai Dojo, and Kizunanokai Dojo. And of course, special super thanks to Hombu Dojo for the cooperation 💙.
Now is the perfect time to look ahead and mark next year’s seminar in your calendar: December 11–13, 2026. Thank you once again to everyone involved. See you on the tatami, at the latest, in a year’s time 💛!

Greetings from Tampere!
This year’s Oyama Sensei`s seminar is now wrapped up, and once again it delivered everything we hoped for: great company, plenty of sweat, and a generous dose of learning (and some sore muscles..). It is a true honor to have an instructor from Hombu Dojo here in Finland, guiding us further along the aikido path, with both precision and patience.
All Kizunanokai instructors, Geir, Max, and Joon, were on the tatami this time. We’re already looking forward to next year, and hopefully with a big group of Kizunanokai members joining the fun.
